Hi Hayley
Where do you live. I just got one from a woman in Auckland and she did a great job. If Auckland suits I'll give you her details.

I just went and saw her, tried on all sorts of styles which was horrifying when you are not in condition and chose colour from samples. Ali was really helpful and made all the right suggestions

Tracey from Hardware has made mine, and most of the teams' bikinis, can't fault the service

here is another that I found on the gym noticeboard today:
flexiwear@paradise.net.nz
They made Neralee Montague and Jeanette Ryans bikinis for the recent Wellington Champs and are based out in Lower Hutt. Not sure of prices though!

I recommend Tracey from Hardwear. Is Tracey still making workout clothing? Thats great ! She makes really good gym shorts and singlets. I have some of her clothing it is really durable. Does she have a website for online ordering?

Does anyone actually care what kind of posing trunks the men wear? Do you think it is just as important as that of the women? I know when I watch the figure competitors I do look at how the bikinis are fitting and whats showing and whats not showing from her physique.

Yes ricphoenix, very important, you pay due attention to your posing trunks. They should fit nicely, not baggy in the bum. They should show a slight "V" taper at the front, it makes your mid section appear to taper more, instead of just cutting you in two & appearing a little blocky. IMO, they should be dark a colour as possible, black, dark brown, navy etc. Dark colours don't show oil or tanning marks as much. Also if you have light bright colours it will attract the judges eye to the mid section area. If you have the best abs on the planet that's fine.........but if your abs are not, then you are now hi-lighting a weakness. Also, its a BBing/ physique show not a "I got the loudest posing trunks show" if you know what I mean. My thoughts on the matter, with over 30 years of watching & judging shows...IMO. Tan Man
