The show is over you dieted and prepared for weeks. Lots of training and cardio ... so where too now?
Its very important you have a plan afterwards. A diet that slowly incorporates other foods slowly into it. Reducing cardio to allow an increase of weight you are lifting.
Something many trainers fail to do with their clients but just as important as the contest prep.

Exactly Lisa! Alot of competitors miss this important aspect and that is why they blow out so badly!

I do a plan,so I give them the first 2-3 days off to eat what they like, then I basically reverse their diet by gradually adding in some more fat first, then carbs. Good things to add back in early are brown rice, pumpkin, carrots, lower GI fruit such as apples and plums, oily fish such as salmon,yogurt....gets the body going again without spiking the blood sugar too rapidly. only then do I add back in things like bread, milk, potato. I will also often keep them on the chromium supplement so they can control their appetite a bit better.
