My buddy years ago was taking both Ripped Fuel by TwinLab, and she was taking some sort of powered creatine....does anyone else see the problem with this?
and on top of that, he thought a gallon of water a day was good enough.....ugh....

Well depending on how much creatine you take and brand etc it can make you retain water.
Up until recently I have taken creatine for a number of years. When dieting right up til my last couple of weeks I have still had a tsp of creatine right after my workout in my shake and always one every morning with my glutamine. I don't believe in cycling creatine.
Diggs and Gina your both PT's what do you think?

ripped fuel inherently burns all of your water. it is a thermogenic, it raises you core body temperature. it is a fat burner/weigth loss supplement. and this was back when it was loaded with ephedra. creatine uses water as fuel. creatine will inherently deplete your bodys water. both supplements in it of themselves require high levels of water intake. improper use of ripped fuel and similar supplements where blamed for the deaths of a hand full of atheletes. do to dehydration. they boost your energy levels, but can also cause dangerously high blood pressure, and many other things. both supplements are beneficial, if used correctly. but are dangerous if used incorrectly.
you could theoretically use them together, but one would need to consume a ton of water. and when i say a ton, i am talking two to three gallons a day, if not more. when my buddy was taking it he was only drinking like one gallon if that.

im sorry i was incredibly vague, and was just trying to stimulate conversation....over something that confused the heck out of me. when i saw what he was doing, i had a long talk with him, and decided to use the creatine first, and when he was done with the creatine, then went on the ripped fuel, a came out of it fine.
I for one cannot use ripped fuel, or any thermogenic for that matter. i have a naturally high blood pressure. which means and thing that will or may raise my blood pressure is out the window.

no apology necessary, and thanks for explanation. But now I have to ask...
Lisa - green tea tabs - arn't they are natural thermo/fat burner? If so arn't these used with creatine doing the same thing???

supplementation is 50% knowing how and what to use, and 50% figuring out how your body reacts too. there are many things that are good for one, and not so good for another. i finally tracked down this stack you all where talking of in the other thread....sounds good....when i get money, in like a month or so, i might check one of them out.
