WHAT'S THE SECRET? By Skip LaCour
Many natural bodybuilders spend the majority of their time looking for the one training, nutrition, or supplementation strategy that will miraculously launch them into a new level of growth.
Let me ask you a question: with so many champion bodybuilders, nutritionists, personal trainers, exercise physiologists, not to mention the Ph.D.s, CSUSs, MDs and other "experts" with fancy letters behind their names, intensely studying this subject, why don't any of them agree on the best bodybuilding strategies?
Believe me, if there were a "magic" solution, someone would have already discovered it by now.
I have had the privilege of talking with many top drug-free bodybuilders in the world and in Australia. Some of them train very heavily and some rather light. Some do up to 20 sets for each body part while others do as few as four. Some train six days a week and some only three or four. Some diet strictly all year while others start watching what they eat just six weeks before a contest. A few of these athletes use every supplement available while others use none at all. The methods used by these champions are all different, but their mindsets are very similar.
They have become a drug-free bodybuilding champion because of Their vision, positive outlook, passion, courage, determination, perseverance, and patience – not because they know some magic secrets!
