I have always gone with waxing for a comp. I make sure I am waxed a week out giving time for the skin to settle before applying the tan.
That means full leg, bikini, underarm and arms!! Been to a few comps where people have forgotten to do their arms and needed too!
Those that have competed do you wax or shave?

So why do you need to do arms?

I wax the usual areas, but I do a full body hair removal over the rest. For the sake of one day I shave down everywhere else, usually the day before I start the tanning products {Phil's of course} the skin is pretty right the next day.

Waxing and Shaving are entirely different. Wax swiftly pulls hair from the root through repetitive tugs. Shaving is more of a trim, only removing hair from the surface of the skin and leaving the root intact. I always prefer to visit a salon for the service.

You're absolutely right; waxing and shaving are distinct hair removal methods. Waxing removes hair from the root, providing longer-lasting results, while shaving trims hair at the skin's surface, with regrowth appearing faster. Visiting a salon for these services can ensure a professional and efficient experience, tailored to your preference.
