I told myself that if I could last two months back in the gym I would start investing in some supplements. I am at the completion of 7 weeks. And I want to start week 9 with something. I have been debating with myself over two things. First I want somethinf to help during the workout and then something to help with muscle grwoth. As well as something that hits fast. The two things I have come down too are: Vyo-Tech 17-HD or a creatine gel possibly XS Creatine Squeeze. Does anyone have any suggestions or comments? I know the 17-HD is fairly new, but I hear it is really good. Just throwing this out there.

P.S. I know the 17Hd seems way more expensive, but you can save it you buy multiples, plus GNC has it on sale, so the cost is not really a factor in the descion

Your certainly right there Andrea!
We are in the process of distributing in the States and my website will be up in the next day so everyone will able to view my products.
The basic supplementation programme for everyone I believe is:
Whey Protein Creatine (For strength) Glutamine (For recovery and immune system)
Not to mention Vitamin C, a good multi-vitamin and Vitamin E.
Then you can start looking at adding other things. If adding muscle mass is a goal Cell Biology Muscle Liquid and DHT is the perfect combo!
The Muscle Liquid needs to be cycled every 6-8 weeks with a break of 2-3 weeks. You take this every day.
DHT Tabs are taken prior to weight training and only on those days and don't need to be cycled.

Hi, I know this is Bernies question but its got me wondering. You said that the staples should include creatine. I tried creatine years ago while running and didn't notice anything at all. Was hoping for power improvements to increase pace. Anyway I've never bothered with it since. Yet everyone else raves about it.
Was I possibly using it for the wrong purpose or simply not right for me? Any thoughts???

theres a couple of different things....what kind where you taking, how long ago exactly, and how much water where you drinking? I know a lot of times, if you are not drinking enough water it actually has adverse effects. You may have been drinking enough for the running, but not necessarily for both. Other two have many differnt things that could be. Plus, i have never personally heard of creatine used for that purpose. I was reading this site www.creatine-facts.com/, and it seems to refer to, being able to sustain a pace for longer periods of time, but not actually increasing the pace per say. I am thinking of creatine just after reading this section of that page: Can creatine improve brain performance? It seems so, reseachers in Austrailia tested this and came to the conclusion that "Creatine supplementation had a significant positive effect on both working memory (backward digit span) and intelligence (Raven's Advanced Progressive Matrices), both tasks that require speed of processing. These findings underline a dynamic and significant role of brain energy capacity in influencing brain performance." In another study done at the University of Tokyo researchers found at providing subjects with 8 grams of creatine for 5 days reduced mental fatigue when "subjects repeatedly performed a simple mathematical calculation." They also noted that the brain seemed to use more oxygen (7).

oh man!!!!! Anything would help my brain. These days it is pretty deficient...I just blame the extremeties of body building!!!!
But I guess an improvement could only be good. As for what I took I think it was micronised creatine and I think in retrospect I was asking it to do something it wasn't meant for so fair enough.
but.....
now that I am taking the muscle liquid and DHT tabs which are supposed to help strength etc is there any benefit to creatine as well.
Why both?

the creatine is to lengthen your workouts. it sounds like it would. i am not totally sure what the DHT tabs or the muscle liquid do, just not too familiar with the products, but sound like they are for intensity, where as the creatine helps you with muscle endurance while working it. You would better waiting for a answer from Lisa.
