ah huh I see.... so in other words in theory the others will enable me to lift heavier and the creatine would stop me running out of steam. That would make sense.
Is that how it works Lisa?
Thanks Bernie

Different people get different results with supplementing with creatine. I personally haven't noticed that much of a difference. From being on it to being off it. I never loaded just took the advice of those at the top of their game and took a tsp every morning and in my shake after training.
With taking the Muscle liquid I noticed my muscles were a lot harder and the pump afterwards was wicked!! I like instant results. I put creatine in because its just one of the basic products. Like anything you need to find out what best suits you. What works for me and the person beside me can be totally different. I thought creatine was a good supplement until I found something better.
We have had a few problems with the hosting of the site. But it should be up and running in the next day.

thanks, I don't think I'll bother with creatine then at this stage. I knew there was a reason I liked you...
"I like instant results"
I get so sick of hearing that I need to be patient. I know I do but I'm not big on patience!!!!!

I am also a VERY BIG believer in supplements are there to supplement your diet and training. I don't believe in taking everything possibly available. Also if you take too much its too hard to see what does and doesn't work.

Hi, I know this is Bernies question but its got me wondering. You said that the staples should include creatine. I tried creatine years ago while running and didn't notice anything at all. Was hoping for power improvements to increase pace. Anyway I've never bothered with it since. Yet everyone else raves about it. Was I possibly using it for the wrong purpose or simply not right for me? Any thoughts??? Andrea I don't think many runners would get much out of supplementing with creatine unless you were a sprinter. Apart from replenishing there natural levels of creatine. What distances were you running? I think you should give it another go while you are weight training. You might be pleasantly surprised.

phew!! definately not a sprinter, I ran marathons. My theory was to improve my ability to do faster harder sprints on interval training days to improve strength which would in turn enable me to go faster longer. That was my theory anyway.
OK, guess there is no harm in trying. Would you suggest multiple times during the day or just in morning and post workout??

Most important time to take your creatine is around your workout time.
Lots take 5g half hour before workout than 5g post workout which works well.
Make sure you include some form of sugar with the creatine even if your goal is fat loss.

Hey group,
I have been using a product called "Stack" by Ad-Energy for about 6 weeks. Well I recently ran out. To me, a home-owner on a single income, this stuff is expensive! However, that being said I will "invest" in more of it if there is a benefit to it. I ran out about a week ago. Debating. I do feel my energy level in the gym is down a little, and have I noticed my strength down a bit as well. I am not getting that "last rep" in as before, most noticeably in the bench-press. Didn't really think about this all until I saw this thread.
Thoughts?

seems like Stack has some similar characherisitcs as does creatine. there are ingredients that allow the muscles to work longer, which is exactly what creatine does. so yeah. just looking at a basic overview of the product, removal would inhibit that "last rep". there are also ingrediants that allow higher intensity. so this could be a reason for diminished instensity and longevity, but i didnt realize it would take effect that fast. ok, i dont know how much you where paying for it, but it looks like bodybuilding.com was selling it for $25this is where i got my info
